Microsoft for Startups
Microsoft for Startups — Azure credits
What you get
Up to $150k in Azure credits
Microsoft for Startups gives eligible startups Azure cloud credits along with technical and go-to-market support.
About this deal
Microsoft for Startups gives eligible companies up to $150,000 in Azure credits. Credits unlock progressively as you build. You get access to more resources as your needs grow. They apply across three areas:
- Compute, storage, and networking. A reliable foundation for production workloads.
- GitHub services: Copilot, Codespaces, and Actions. Connect your Azure sponsored subscription as a GitHub payment method first — a quick, one-time step. Without it, GitHub usage bills separately.
- Azure AI models. First-party models provisioned through Microsoft Foundry are covered automatically. Third-party model coverage varies and isn't always eligible.
AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) usage is covered automatically, with no extra setup. The program also includes technical resources: documentation, guides, and support. It also includes go-to-market help through Microsoft's customer network.
